On May 9th, Xuzhou Family Education 2021 Annual Summit, sponsored by Xuzhou Education Bureau, Xuzhou Women’s Federation and Xuzhou Federation of Philosophy and Social Sciences, and organized by Jiangsu Normal University and Xuzhou Family Education Research Association, was held in JSNU. Wang Weiguo, council chairman of China Next Generation Education Foundation, Hua Guihong, Party Secretary of CPC JSNU Committee, Shi Qihong, directorof Xuzhou Education Bureau, and Liu Hongmei, president of Xuzhou Women’s Federation attended the conference and delivered speeches. More than 400 people attended the meeting. The conference was also broadcast live online, with more than 70,000 people watching online.
Prof. Hua Guihong gave a speech on behalf of JSNU, warmly welcomed leaders and guests who attended the summit, and briefly introduced the development of JSNU in recent years and the achievements in family education research.
Council Chairman Wang Weiguo pointed out that the cooperative education and building a dream for the future are important social and educational propositions with significance. To understand and develop family education, we should firmly establish “three views”, that is, the family view of the new era, the scientific family education view, and the family education work view of cooperative education.
At the opening ceremony, Director Shi Qihong introduced the basic situation of Xuzhou Family Education and Xuzhou Family Education Research Association. President Liu Hongmei highly evaluated of the work of Xuzhou Family Education Research Association.
Three public lectures on family education were held after the opening ceremony. HuoYujia, director of family education at the China Children’s Center, Zhou Moqian, an expert on family education, and Hong Ming, deputy director of science and management department at the China Youth and Children Research Center, made presentations and reports respectively.
The convening of this summit has a very important and special significance forfamily education in Xuzhou, which will strongly promote the development of family education reform in Xuzhou. The conference received extensive attentionand coverage from the media of Toutiao and Phoenix News.
