On the morning of April 20th, the “Jiangsu Normal University New Materials, Biomedicine and Big Health Topics Docking Activity” co-sponsored by JSNU and Xuzhou Science and Technology Bureau was successfully held. Zhao Xingyou, Vice Mayor of Xuzhou Municipal Government, Zhou Ruguang, President of JSNU, Zhang Nong, Vice President of JSNU and Liang Wei, Director of Xuzhou Science and Technology Bureau, attended the event. Vice President Zhang Nong presided over the activity.
Vice Mayor Zhao Xingyou delivered a speech on behalf of Xuzhou Municipal Government. He pointed out that JSNU has adhered to the principle of being rooted in and relying on local conditions. JSNU has undertaken the historical task of providing scientific and technological support, talent support and cultural support for the development of Xuzhou, and has become an important force. Xuzhou is in the critical period of the transformation between old and new driving forces, so it is necessary to place scientific and technological innovation in a more prominent position, take deepening industry-university-research cooperation as a key measure, and give full play to the role of universities in the field of innovation.
President Zhou Ruguang expressed warm congratulations to the successful holding of the event, and introduced the basic information of JSNU. He pointed out that in order to adapt to the new trend and requirements of scientific and technological innovation, JSNU has introduced a series of incentive measures to improve the position of the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the evaluation system. It is hoped that the experts participating in this activity will demonstrate the technology well, promote the project well, and cooperate well, so as to make due contributions to the integration and development of the school and local areas.
During the event, a signing ceremony was held for the integration of the school and enterprises. Li Ludan, Liu Man, Li Can and other experts from JSNU signed contracts with 9 science and technology enterprises including Xuzhou Sanyuan Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. During the show, Wu Shaoyuan, Dean of School of Life Sciences, and other experts introduced 9 scientific and technological achievements. The experts’ detailed and passionate explanation and the demonstration won the applause of the guests present. After the show,Jiangsu AIDI Food Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Shenghua Venture Capital Co., Ltd. and other enterprises reached 13 cooperation intentions with Prof. Chen Caifa, Prof. Hu Yuanfa and other experts of JSNU.
