On the afternoon of April 9th, Liu Yongbiao, President of Jinling Institute of Technology, and his delegation visited Jiangsu Normal University. Professor Zhou Ruguang, President of JSNU, attended the exchange activity, together with relevant personnel from the Academy of Science and Technology, President’s Office, Development Planning Office, Human Resources Office and other departments.
President Zhou Ruguang extended a warm welcome to President Liu Yongbiao and his delegation. President Zhou introduced the school’s development history, basic information and outstanding achievements in recent years. President Zhou said that although Jiangsu Normal University is located in northern Jiangsu, it has established a brotherly and friendly relationship with Jinling Institute of Technology, especially in the areas of talent training, scientific research, social services, etc. He hoped that the two universities can continue to expand cooperation areas, deepen cooperation levels, and form complementary advantages. He expressed the hope that the two universities can make new and greater contributions to accelerating the construction of Jiangsu as a modern and strong education province and providing education that satisfies the people.
President Liu Yongbiao expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and highly appreciated the achievements of JSNU in recent years. President Liu introduced the general situation of Jinling Institute of Technology, its characteristics and talent training ideas. He hoped to make full use of the advanced experience and practices of JSNU, and make new and beneficial attempts in terms of major national strategic needs and the promotion of local economic and social development.
