Vice President Zhang Nong said in the discussion that the cooperative construction of Industrial College should break through the traditional school-enterprise cooperation mode and adopt the cooperation mode of “profession + language”. In terms of “profession”, in addition to hiring senior engineers and technicians from XCMG Basic Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. to give lectures, students should also be arranged to practice in XCMG Basic Engineering Machinery Co.,Ltd. and carry out graduation projects based on enterprise projects. In terms of “language”, the second foreign language for the overseas market of XCMG Group should be opened. In 2020, School of Mechatronic Engineering opened Portuguese language in the major of Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, to train talents for XCMG Brazil Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Next, the school will further increase the number of languages for Southeast Asia, so as to fully open up the channel of school-enterprise cooperation to cultivate talents, so that students can “both do and speak”, and can be qualified for the work of enterprises at home and abroad after graduation. The relevant person in charge of XCMG Foundation Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. said that language communication problem in overseas market has been a pain point that troubled the technical personnel of the enterprise. The deep cooperation mode of “profession+ language” will help the enterprise solve this problem, which is conducive to the win-win cooperation of both sides.
The two sides also talked about the construction of the practice base and the cooperation of intelligent and fast digging technology, and reached consensus. In the future cooperation, the two sides will make every effort to promote the construction of Industrial College and improve the quality of talent training.
