The finals of China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Competition in 2018, with the theme of “making achievements in the new era” was held at Zhejiang University during October 31 to November 3.
This competition, sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, China Association for Science and Technology, All-China Students Federation and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, brought forth 150,000 projects from more than 2,200 universities all over the country.
In total, 369 projects from 197 schools advanced to the finals, including JSNU’s two teams led by vice president Liu Guangdeng.
After internet review and live presentation, two of JSNU’s projects from “Wenyi Education S&T Ltd. Co.” and “Hongyi Five-animal Exercise Promotion Institute” won the gold medal, ranking first position among Chinese normal universities.
JSNU leaders paid attention to students’ preparation since 2017. With great support, teachers and students consistently devoted their effort and enthusiasm. Deputy Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Communist Party Committee, Lin Xiaoyi came to JSNU booths to greet the participants and CCTV interviewed the participants, as well.
