On the morning of Feb 11, Chinese New Year’s Eve, with the company of staff from JSNU International Office, President Zhou Ruguang visited foreign teachers who could not go back to their countries in winter vacation because of epidemic prevention, bring greetings and new year blessings to them.
President Zhou said that since the outbreak of COVID-19, JSNU had been paid highly attention and taken diverse measures to protect the safety of teachers and students. Foreign teachers of JSNU cooperated with our school positively during the epidemic, adhered to all the regulations, finished teaching tasks well and guaranteed an excellent teaching effect, making great contributions to JSNU’s development.
“Now, the situationof the epidemic has not been steady yet. Under such a circumstance, our foreign teachers could give up the chance to go back to their countries and reunite with their families and stay at campus to overcome the difficulties with our Chineseteachers and students. Therefore, we would like to extend our sincere respectand gratitude to them.” President Zhou said, “Chinese New Year is the most important traditional festival in China, so our school will provide all-round service for foreign teachers in terms of epidemic prevention and daily life support. I also hope that you could feel Chinese traditional culture better and become the bridges between China and other countries.”
The seminar was warm and comfortable. President Zhou gave every foreign teacher sterilizing products and New Year gifts. All the foreign teachers expressed their gratitude for JSNU leaders’ long-term care and support and showed their willingness to work hard in order to make more contributions to our university.
