JSNU delegation, led by Professor Cen Hong, deputy secretary of JSNU Committee, attended the 1st Sino Russian University Education Alliance Bilateral Conference in
The conference was held between October 10 and 11. The conference attracted representatives from over 80 universities and institutes like Beijing Normal University, East China Normal University and Eurasia Education Alliance. On the opening ceremony, the host introduced the preparation, theme and future work. Then, representatives conducted discussions around “education development and digitalization.”
Professor Cen addressed a speech on behalf of JSNU in discussion. She emphasized the theory and exploration of the university’s education development. First, insisting on the innovation of educational theory and methods, pursuing continuous improvementof educational quality from the perspective of teachers education; Second, meeting national demands, undertaking missions of a university; Third, making new results in international cooperation in new form and new ways. Combining substantial situation of bilateral cooperation, professor Cen suggested that sincethe great advantage of JSNU’s TCSL and the demand of Russian faculty incooperative specialties, universities in Russian would send language teachers. Academic exchange, cooperative research and symposiums were expected to be heldin fields of pedagogy, history and regional issues. At last, she noted her wishes of co-sharing educational resources through internet courses. The heated discussion reached “Resolution of Sino Russian University Education Alliance Bilateral Symposium.” During the symposium, professor Cen introduced JSNU Belt and Road Institute, arising overseas universities’ interests of building branch institutes.
