Research Center for Jiangsu Regional Coordinated Development, (aka. Research Center for Jiangsu Huaihai Area Development) was prepared to be built in 1997. In July, 1998, it was officially founded after the opening ceremony at Jiangsu Normal University. Over the years, this center insists the spirit of “Relying on Northern Part of Jiangsu, Covering Huaiai Area and Serving the Whole Province”, achieving fruitful research results and making positive contributions for local economic, social and cultural development.
In 2017, this center undertook many national projects and paid attention to Jiangsu economic and social development consistently, focusing on important basic projects with distinct features. Xinhua Daily published 2 articles of Prof. Shen Zhenping, the chief expert of the center. Prof. Shi Shuhua and Prof. Ou Xiangjun and many other professors also published many papers in other top academic journals.
