JSNU Held the 33rd Campus Top Ten Singers Competition

On the evening of December 12th, the final of the 33rd Song of Youth Campus Top Ten Singers competition of China Mobile Cup were held in the gymnasium of Quanshan Campus. Professor Liu Guangdeng, Vice Party Secretary of CPC JSNU Committee and Vice President of JSNU, and other leaders of relevant departments attended the activities and presented awards to the winners. Cao Shulin, National First-level Art Supervisor and Director, Wu Xuemei, Vice Chairman of Xuzhou Dancers Association, Lin Fei, Music Director of Xuzhou TV Station, Gao Zhi, member of Chinese Musicians Association, Yu Zhongmin, Art Director of Art Education Center of JSNU, and Miao Yu, Dean of Academy of Music, were invited to serve as judges.

A total of 21 groups of contestants from 12 colleges successfully qualified for the finals, which brought a wonderful audio-visual feast for the teachers and students of the whole school. Ji Zhengyundong from Academy of Music won two awards, Song of Youth Award and Best Original Song, for his superb singing skills and unique musical style. Deng Huihong from School of Fine Arts and Tian Ye from School of Linguistic Sciences and Arts won the Excellent Original Song Award. Ji Haolan from School of Life Sciences was awarded the Internet Popularity Star. In the professional group, Ji Zhengyundong and Yang Yufei from Academy of Music, Hou Xinran and Zhu Zhaoming, Zhou Wenjie, Fei Jing Kai and Li Yiheng won the first, second and third places respectively. Liu Nuo from School of Linguistic Sciences and Arts, Zhang Hongzhi from Sino-Russian Institute, Wang Yan from School of Chinese Language and Literature, Wan Zekai from School of Public Administration and Sociology, Xu Tiange, Fan Yiyang from Sino-Russian Institute, Zhou Ruijie from School of Marxism Studies, Ji Haolan from School of Life Sciences, Liu Siling from School of Fine Arts, Li Fangmei from School of Linguistic Sciences and Arts, Wu Dawei from Sino-Russian Institute won the title of Campus Top Ten Best Singers. Five students including Wang Zhaofan from Business School won the title of Outstanding Singers.

 The competition has set up five innovative theme singing parts, so that the song category is more diversified and the singing style of the contestants is more distinct. The vocal performance chorus of Duan Gexing and the dance performance of A Cloud Comes from the Field, which was successfully shortlisted in the national Competition, brought the atmosphere of the scene to a climax. The competition invited the youth representatives who achieved outstanding results in this year's Challenge Cup competition, China Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition and Art Performance of Jiangsu University Students, as well as the representatives of the graduate students group who returned to school after a year of supporting education in the western region. The competition has received strong support from relevant departments and colleges.
