Biography:

Fang Shizan, a professor, doctoral advisor and the dean of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Burgundy in France. He is an internationally renowned expert on probability theory. He graduated from Wuhan University with a bachelor’s degree in 1985. In 1990, he received his PhD from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Paris VI in France, where he studied under an expert on probability theory, Professor Paul Malliavin. From 1990 to 1996, he worked in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Paris VI and in 1996 he became a professor at the University of Burgundy. Professor Fang mainly researches Malliavin Calculus, Stochastic differential equations, stochastic analysis on manifolds, etc. Especially, he achieves a series of research results with important international influence in the research of geometric analysis in the Wiener space, Stochastic and geometric analysis on Riemannian path spaces and loop groups.

Abstract:

We will present some recent results concerning parallel translations along regular stochastic curves on Wasserstein spaces.
