Jiangsu Normal University officially becamea member of China-CEEC Higher Education Institutes Consortium (CCHEIC) after the approval of CCHEIC Secretary Office, which is another international education alliance we joined after we became a member of the Sino Russian University Education.
CCHEIC, founded in 2014, is a non-profit organization consisting of higher education institutes from China and Central and Eastern European Countries. It aims at connecting higher education institutes from two sides with cooperative partners and platforms, integrating and sharing resources, deepening communications between China and Central and Eastern European Countries positively. Its main tasks include founding a platform for members sharing information and resource, actively promoting degree mutual-recognition of accreditation, encouraging faculty long-term and short-term exchange, co-sponsoring academic forums and symposiums, conducting research cooperation and translation and enhancing understanding between different cultures and societies.
All together, there are more than 40 members including Sofia University (Bulgaria), University of Bucharest (Romania), Technical University of Liberec (Czech), Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Lithuania), Peking University (China), Renmin University of China (China), Beijing Normal University (China) and East China Normal University (China), etc.
Being a member of CCHEIC will strongly improve education communication and cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries, which has a significant meaning to JSNU globalization and high-level university construction.
