Biography:
Zhang Duoduo, a doctoral graduate of the Academy of Arts, Tsinghua University, completed her postdoctoral work at the School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, and is a visiting scholar at the Department of Social Anthropology, University of Edinburgh, UK. Currently, she is the deputy secretary-general and director of the Life Style Design Committee of the China Society for Anthropology of Arts. Deputy Secretary General of the Design Aesthetics Committee of Chinese Association for Aesthetics; Deputy Secretary General of Gender and Technology Committee of the Chinese Society for the History of Science and Technology.
She has long been engaged in research and teaching in the fields of intangible cultural heritage innovation, rural revitalization, and design anthropology. She has published 6 books, 6 translations, and more than 50 Chinese and English papers in domestic and foreign journals. She has hosted or participated in national, Ministry of Education, and provincial social science projects, and has won the Second Prize of National Teaching Achievement Award (2023), the First Prize of Higher Education Achievement Award in Hunan Province (2022，2019), the Second Prize of Ethnic Education Achievement Award in Hunan Province (2020), the First Prize of Social Science Achievement Award in Hunan Province (2021), and the Excellent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Guidance Teacher in Hunan Province (2022, 2019). Her tutees’ work was selected into the Global Grad Show (2019, GGS), the Silver Award for the China Universities Industrial Design Competition (2018), the First Prize(2019, 2022) and the Second Prize (2018) of the China College Students’ ‘Internet+’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Gold Award (2019) and Bronze Award (2018) in Hunan Youth Volunteer Competition.
