Biography:
Li Qian was born in 1964 in Shandong. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Shandong Art College in 1988. In 1994, he finished his study in the 7th Creative Workshop of the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 2012, he graduated from the Advanced Workshop of Oil Painting Creation in the Institute of Plastic Arts of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He graduated from Quan Shanshi Oil Painting Creative Workshop at China Academy of Art in 2017. Now he is a member of the China Artists Association and the Shanghai Artists Association. He is also a committee member of the Oil Painting Art Committee and the Shanghai Art Professional Degree Graduate Education Guidance Committee. At present, Professor Li works in the Stage Art Department of Shanghai Theatre Academy. His works have been collected by National Art Museum of China, China Oil Painting Institute, Shanghai Art Museum, Shandong Art Museum and other institutions, as well as people at home and abroad.
