JSNU (Jiangsu Normal University) welcomed freshmen and incoming postgraduate students last weekend. The leaders of JSNU came to different campuses as well as the railway station, high-speed railway station and bus station to inspect the orientation, accompanied by leaders from relevant departments of JSNU.
On the morning of September 9th, Fang Zhong, Secretary of the CPC JSNU Committee, and the delegation came to visit the orientation events of various Schools, and asked the staff about the registration in detail. Fang Zhong pointed out that the volunteers should be student-oriented and provide friendly service for new students to help them involve in campus life as quickly as possible. He also specially came to the “Green Channel” window and engage in friendly conversations with the newcomers. At last, he offered words of encouragement to the new students.
President Zhou Ruguang, accompanied by University leaders and faculty members, came to the Information Department early in the morning to check the registration of new students through the digital system. He pointed out that it’s necessary to utilize technology to facilitate students and parents. After that, President Zhou came to Schools and student dormitories to learn more about the registration. On the site, he exchanged his feelings and experience with new students.
During move-in days, University leaders Zhang Yuqin, Du Zengji, and Zhao Peng went to the railway station, high-speed railway station and bus station in Xuzhou, the student dormitories on Quanshan and Yunlong campus, canteens and other places to learn about the orientation. They also expressed encouragement to dedicated volunteers working diligently on-site.
