Prof. Zhu, Martial Arts Grading 8, of Mongolian Nationality, is now the director of the Department of Martial Arts, Institute of Physical Education and the academic leader of Martial Arts Discipline. In terms of additional post, he is the member of the Martial Arts Committee of China Sport Science Society, Science & Research Committee of Chinese Wushu Association and Committee of Martial Arts Rank System.
Over the years, Prof. Zhu has devoted himself into the studying of the Methods of Martial Arts, training national Martial Arts Champions like He Weiqi, Xu Jingying, Sun Na and so on. He has held the post of chief judge of national Martial Arts Contests and supervisor of national Martial Arts Rank System Training Class and expert of various kinds of Martial Arts activities at national level.
In Terms of the academic achievements, he has paid attention to the theory and practice of Methods of Martial Arts. He has hosted 8 projects of General Administration of Sport of China, Chinese Wushu Academy and Jiangsu Department of Education. Prof. Zhu was the director of the MOE project: Creation and Edition of “Chinese Five-animal Exercise” and involved in Chinese Martial Arts Rank System Teaching Materials. By far, he has published over 80 papers in academic journals.
