Prof. Zhang, visiting scholar at National Taiwan Normal University, has been engaged in research on theory and practice of university PE. He is vice president of JiangsuXuzhou Basketball Association, vice president of the Association of Non-Party intellectuals of JSNU, member of the sports theory Specialized Committee of Jiangsu Sports Science Society and so on. Zhang has published over 50 papers in Journal of Shanghai Institute of PE, Wuhan Institute of PE and Asian Sports Science, also, Physical Education Practice, College Physical Education Practice Curse and other teaching materials have been edited. He once led the sports college team to win the first prize in the national college basic skills competition and first prize of the third China Basketball Cultural Forum.
