Prof. Zhang has been engaged in physical education for years. He is a leading person in the discipline of physical education and training. He is also the vice director general of the National College Physical Education Teacher Education Research Committee, the vice director of Jiangsu Provincial Teaching Guidance Committee and the university sports supervision and research expert. He is participating in the research on the project of deepening physical education subject of twenty-first Century. He has earned honorary title of excellent educators from Jiangsu Province.
