Dr. Zhao is now professor of School of Chemistry & Materials Science. He has engaged in the study of small molecule compound design and synthesis, the activity of anti-tumor as well as Allylation reaction. Zhao has published a series of papers in international academic journals such as Org. Lett., J. Org. Chem., Bioorg. Med. Chem., Eur. J. Med. Chem., Bioorg. Med. Chem. Lett., Eur. J. Org. Chem., Tetrahedron, Tetrahedron Lett., Synthesis, Synlett, and RSC Adv. And he obtained a national patent on an invention in 2013.
