Prof. Yu’s research field is automorphic forms and representation theory, publishing 12 papers in J. Algebra, J. Math and other academic journals. Yu hosted 2 national natural science fund project and 1 project sponsored by the Scientific Research Foundation for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars and State Education Ministry, and 1 project sponsored by Jiangsu DOE Natural Science Foundation. Prof. Yu teaches Modern Algebra, Advanced Algebra, Fundamental Algebra, Commutative Algebra, Linear Algebraic Groups and other courses for undergraduates and graduates.
