Yongmin Liu was born in Jiangsu, China, in 1957. He received his Bachelor degree from Nanjing University in July 1982. From August 1986 to January 1988, as a Visiting Scholar, he was in East China Normal University. In 1988, he served as a lecturer at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Jiangsu Normal University. From August 1991 to August 1992, as a Visiting Scholar, he was in Fudan University. Since 1993, he is mainly interested in Operator Theorey in Function Space. From 1998 to 2003, Liu was an Associate Professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Jiangsu Normal University. In 2004, he served as a Professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Jiangsu Normal University. Presently, he is a reviewer of Mathematical Reviews. Liu’s main research interests include properties of concrete operators in Banach spaces, holomorphic functions of one and several variables, as well as some areas related to these ones; operator theory, special classes of linear operators; spaces and algebras of analytic functions of one and several complex variables.
