Prof. Xiao is mainly engaged in the research on English Literature. She got the National Social Science Fund Project in 2015. Sponsored by Jiangsu DOE University Outstanding Young and Mid-aged Teachers and Presidents Overseas Education Project, she studied as a visiting scholar in the Institute of Foreign Literature, CASS. By far, she has published over 20 papers on academic journals, including Foreign Literature Studies, etc.
