Prof. Pan, member of CPC, is now the dean of School of Foreign Studies. He is mainly engaged in researches on Cognitive Linguistics and Translation Theory and Practice. He is the co-doctoral supervisor in University of Amsterdam, master supervisor of JSNU (Foreign Languages and Literature, Subject Teaching English, MTI), director of MTI supervisors group and director of JSNU Cognitive Linguistics Research Center. Now, Prof. Pan is council member of International Discourse System Committee of TAC, CCLA, Jiangsu Translators Association, Jiangsu Foreign Languages Society abd CACSEC. By far, Pan has published over 20 papers on academic journals, including more than 10 collected by CSSCI.
