Prof. Wang is a master supervisor and professor of JSNU. He is among the first batch of candidates of Jiangsu 333 Talents Project. Wang used to be the former dean of JSNU School of History, Culture & Tourism. Now, he is deputy dean of JSNU Han Culture Institute, director of JSNU Ancient Chinese History Research Center. In terms of academic posts, he is deputy chairman of China Qin & Han History Society, Jiangsu Agricultural History, and executive member of Jiangsu History Society and chairman of Xuzhou History Society.
