On the evening of June 20th, the opening ceremony of the 2023 National Kickboxing Championship, hosted by the Sports Administrative Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the Chinese Wushu Association and organized by the Tangshan Sports Bureau, was held at the Tangshan New Sports Center. Over 200 athletes from nearly 60 representative teams from across the country gathered here. Zhang Chengcheng, a student from the Institute of Physical Education of Jiangsu Normal University, represented the Jiangsu Province and won the men’s 85kg championship. He has been selected for the 2023 National Kickboxing Team and will prepare for the 2023 World Kickboxing Championship.
