The 2nd Jiangsu Normal University (JSNU) College Student Badminton Competition concluded successfully in the the gymnasium on May 28th. A total of 17 representative teams participated in the competition.
There were three events, the mixed teams, the men’s singles, and the women’s singles. After two days’ furious competitions, the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering, JSNU SPBPU Institute of Engineering -- Sino-Russian Institute, and the School of Chinese Language and Literature were the top three in the mixed teams event. Xia Beichen from the School of Education Science, Li Shixin from the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering, and Chen Junkai from the School of Life Sciences were the top three winners in the men’s singles. Song Peiyao from the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering, Min Siqi from the School of Geography, Geomatics and Planning, and Liu Jiajia from the School of Chinese Language and Literature were the top three winners in the women’s singles. The School of Physics and Electronic Engineering, JSNU SPBPU Institute of Engineering -- Sino-Russian Institute, the School of Chinese Language and Literature, the Academy of Music, the School of Marxism, and the School of Education Science gained the honorary title of “Sportsmanship Award” in the competition.
