JSNU Makes Remarkable Achievements in the 18th “Challenge Cup” Trials in Jiangsu Province

From May 26th to 28th, the final of the 18th Challenge Cup trials in Jiangsu Province were held at Changzhou University. Over 2,000 student and teacher representatives from universities across the province participated in the event. Vice President Liu Guangdeng from Jiangsu Normal University (JSNU) led a total of 12 teams with more than 70 teachers and students to the trials.

After online preliminary contests, a total of 699 works from 125 universities entered the final, among which 8 projects were from JSNU. Totally, JSNU won 3 special prizes, 2 first prizes, and 3 second prizes with the number of special prizes ranking fourth in the province, and 4 works advancing to national competitions. Additionally, 4 projects were recognized as outstanding works in the “Black Technology” special contests, and JSNU won the “Outstanding Cup” with remarkable performance.

Works from the School of Public Administration and Sociology, Law School, and School of Foreign Studies of JSNU were awarded special prizes and entered the national competition. The work of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation won the first prize and were recommended for national competitions. The work from the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering received the first prize and works from the School of Education Science, JSNU SPBPU Institute of Engineering -- Sino-Russian Institute, and School of Mechatronic Engineering were awarded the second prizes.

In the “Black Technology” special contests, works from the School of Life Sciences, JSNU SPBPU Institute of Engineering -- Sino-Russian Institute, School of Physics and Electronic Engineering, and School of Mechatronic Engineering were recognized as excellent works.
