On the evening of April 11th, the “Top Ten Classes” of 2022 perform and competition was held in Ma Ke Concert Hall. 23 undergraduate classes were on the list of evaluation. Vice President and Deputy Secretary of the CPC JSNU Committee Liu Guangdeng, persons in charge of relevant departments, counselors and representatives of previous year’s top classes of Jiangsu Normal University (JSNU) served as judges. More than 400 people, including deputy secretaries, counselors, class teachers and student representatives from schools of JSNU, were present at the event.
At the site, the 23 classes recommended by each school demonstrated the outstanding achievements and highlights of class construction with various forms such as drama, recitation, singing and dance, which fully showed the vigor and positive spirit of our students. It also embodied the innovative measures of each school in class construction and the remarkable results in student education and training. In addition, the event provided an opportunity for all schools and classes to learn from each other and make progress together.
In this event, many excellent classes competed for the “Top Ten Classes” who serve as role models to display the spirit of JSNU. The “Top Ten Classes” selection is a significant initiative of our university to implement the spirit of the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Universities. As an important part of JSNU “Leading Project for Construction of Study Style”, it aims to select a group of outstanding classes with vitality, unity and progress, pure class atmosphere and sound study style to enhance students’ sense of collective honor and give full play to the role of model classes in leading and demonstrating based on the principle of “promoting construction and creating excellence through evaluation”. The selection work consists of testing and assessing indexes, observing indexes, material review and on-site display, focusing on basic construction and process management of the classes, and the annual “Top Ten Classes” were selected after comprehensive assessment.
