On the afternoon of March 17th, Fang Zhong, Secretary of CPC JSNU Committee, conducted a survey on Kunshan Experimental Middle School attached to Jiangsu Normal University, accompanied by Chen Qinglin, Deputy Secretary of CPC Kunshan New & Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone (KSND) Working Committee and Deputy Director of KSND Management Committee, and Qing Sheng, Director of Kunshan Municipal Education Bureau.
During the investigation, Zhou Wei, the principal of the middle school, made a brief introduction of the school conditions to Fang Zhong. Followed by a guide, Secretary Fang inspected the school, its education and teaching facilities as well as the cultural construction. He was also invited to wish happiness to teachers, students and the school at the school TV station. Fang Zhong fully affirmed and highly recognized the operation and development of the school. He pointed out that it has achieved excellent and gratifying results in a short time, with distinctive school characteristics, positive social influence and appreciable social benefits. The CPC JSNU Committee highly values the future of Kunshan Middle School attached to JSNU, and will continue to support its development. JSNU will also help it achieve high-quality development by providing effective resources.
In addition, Fang Zhong and his team exchanged views with Xu Huadong, deputy secretary of Kunshan Municipal Committee, Qin Weixi, deputy mayor of Kunshan, and persons in charge of relevant units. They discussed on jointly promoting sound and rapid development of the school and deepening the industry-university-research cooperation. The leaders of the Development and Planning Office, Science and Technology Research Institute, Graduate School, Education Development Foundation (Alumni Association) Office, Kunshan Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Party and Government Office of KSND Management Committee, Social Affairs Bureau and other departments participated in relevant activities.
Fang Zhong also participated in the activities of organized by Kunshan Alumni Association, investigated the work of the Association, and inaugurated the “Kunshan Alumni House of Jiangsu Normal University”.
