On the morning of March 16th, the signing and unveiling ceremony of medical treatment partnership was held by Jiangsu Normal University (JSNU) and Xuzhou No.1 People’s Hospital. Part of the leaders from two institutions attended the ceremony. All staff of JSNU Health Office and JSNU Hospital, as well as some student representatives, also participated in the ceremony.
Fang Zhong, Secretary of the CPC JSNU Committee, delivered a speech at the ceremony and expressed his warm welcome to the arrival of the leaders and experts of Xuzhou No.1 People’s Hospital. He also gave full recognition to the achievements made by the two sides, the construction of a new Xuzhou over the years. Secretary Fang expressed his heartfelt thanks to the technical support from the hospital. He pointed out that the establishment of the medical treatment partnership is a major event in the university’s health development and a win-win cooperation for both sides. It fully reflects the care and support of the hospital for the development of our university’s medical and health career and the common pursuit of higher quality medical and health services. It is hoped that further communication and joint efforts will promote the establishment of the partnership and deepen win-win cooperation.
Ding Jicun, Secretary of the CPC Xuzhou No.1 People’s Hospital Committee and the President recalled the deep friendship and close cooperation between two sides over the past years in his speech. He said that the establishment of the medical treatment partnership is a positive attempt to build a high-level research-oriented university and a research-oriented hospital by combining both strengths. He also hoped that the platform could make quality medical resources be available to JSNU and its effective construction could bring out new ideas.
After that, two sides signed the agreement. Fang Zhong and Ding Jicun unveiled the board together. After the ceremony, leaders and experts visited JSNU hospital and gave guidance to the work.
The establishment of the medical treatment partnership marked a new journey of friendly cooperation between JSNU and the hospital.
