Abstract:
In this talk, we will give a survey of some methods on constructing simple modules over the Virasoro algebra as well as my recent work with collaborators on this topic.
Biography:
Guo Xiangqian, a Doctor of Science who researches in Lie algebra and representation theory. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor in Zhengzhou University, young core teachers in Universities of Henan Province, the commentator of Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt MATH. In 2012, he visited Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada with the sponsorship of China Scholarship Council. Prof. Guo has published more than 40 SCI papers, and hosted 4 projects of The National Natural Science Foundation of China.
