Aglobal academician delegation composed of more than 20 academicians from Russia, UK, Ukraine and other countries arrived at JSNU on the afternoon of October 20. The conference on exchange and cooperation was held in the Analysis and Testing Center. Zhou Ruguang, President of JSNU and Ding Zhifeng, Executive Chairman and Secretary General of Beijing Global Talent Exchange Association attended the conference. Other representatives from related departments of JSNU like the Personnel Department, International Office, Institute of Science and Technology and so forth participated in the meeting.
President Zhou Ruguang extended a warm welcome to the academicians from all over the world, and briefly introduced JSNU as well as the international cooperation and exchange work of the school. President Zhou pointed out that Jiangsu Normal University, with a history of nearly 70 years, was one of “the first universities eligible to accept foreign students in China. Till now, it had a friendly partnership with more than 80 colleges and universities in UK, the US, Australia, Russia and so on. He sincerely hoped that global academicians would enhance their friendship with JSNU through this exchange trip, and looked forward to carrying out extensive and in-depth exchanges and cooperation in talent team building, teaching, scientific research, etc.
Secretary General Ding Zhifeng introduced relevant information of the event and the overview of Beijing Global Talent Exchange Association. Personnel Department illustrated the introducing policy of high-end international talent in detail, and sincerely invited the academicians to join JSNU. After the meeting, the academicians visited the specific schools and scientific research institutions and conducted professional exchanges with relevant personnel.
