On the afternoon of Jun 26, the final of the 3rd Youth Voluntary Service Project Competition of JSNU was held at the Lecture Hall of the Key Laboratory of Biotechnology for Medicinal Plant of Jiangsu Province. Leaders from related departments, experts and representatives of young volunteers attended the activity.
The theme of this year’s competition was “Making Contribution to the New Era,” and there were 43 teams from 19 schools took part in. Two groups, voluntary service group and public welfare entrepreneurship group were divided, covering helping the disabled, cultural publicity, anti-poverty, neighborhood watch and medical assistant, etc., including ongoingprojects and projects to be conducted. After preliminary round and review, 12teams entered the final. Though presentation with authentic illustration and answering judges’ question from the perspectives of topic-selecting, service content and organization management, the participants showed their emotions andcreativity vividly.
