Yan Yan, Associate Professor of JSNU, Published a Research Paper in PNAS

Recently, Yan Yan, Associate Professor of JSNU, published a research paper titled “Robust wrinkled MoS2/N-C bifunctional electrocatalysts interfaced with single Fe atoms for wearable zinc-air batteries” (DOI:10.1073/pnas.2110036118) in Proceeding of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS). JSNU is the signatory.

PNAS is the journal of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS was founded in 1915; the National Academy of Sciences was founded in 1914). It is one of the four famous journals in the world (Nature, Science, PNAS, Cell), one of the most cited comprehensive academic literature, and a century-old classic journal. The impact factor for 2021, the latest release, is 11.205.

Yan Yan, Associate Professor, received his PhD from Sun Yat-sen University in 2014. From 2019 to 2020, he has been working as a postdoctoral fellow and visiting scholar at Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests include the synthesis of new energy materials and precision regulation of micro mechanisms. Yan Yan has been an associate professor since joining JSNU. He has published more than 20 papers as the first or corresponding author in PNAS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed and Nano Lett., and has been selected as 2021 Global Emerging Investigator of the Royal Society.
