Brief Information about Dr. Marcell Nikolausz：
Dr. Marcell Nikolausz is a senior scientist in Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ (Germany), He is expert in molecular biological science, environmental microbiology and microbial ecology. In recent years, he hosted many Europe union projects, like Marie Curie development ~BIOISOTOPE project, Marie Curie tranfer to knowledge project and other European cooperation programs.He is reviewers of FEMS microbial ecology, Bio Techniques etc.
Current research interests：
• Renewable energies: Methane from biomass via microbiological processes
• Investigation of microbial communities involved in the biogas process
• Microbiological process optimization based on functional analysis of biogas communities
• Gene mining for lignocellulose-degrading enzymes in the gut system of wood-feeding arthropods
