On the afternoon of March 14th, Shang Liang, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC JSNU (Jiangsu Normal University) Committee and Vice President, as well as his delegation went to Xiangshan District of Huaibei for exchange. Zhang Li, Chief Executive of Xiangshan District Government, Yu Qian, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and Deputy Director of Xiangshan District, and Sun Gang, director of the Education Bureau of Xiangshan District attended the event.
At the symposium, Shang Liang expressed his gratitude to Xiangshan District for its long-term concern and support for the development of JSNU. And then, he introduced JSNU briefly and said that it will give full play to its advantages in education, scientific research, talents and platform. Furthermore, it will deepen the cooperation with Xiangshan District in serving local industries, accelerating the integration of university and city, running schools, and teacher training.
Zhang Li expressed his welcome and gratitude to the delegation. After introducing recent years’ fruits, he fully affirmed the school-running characteristics and achievements of Xiangshan Experimental School affiliated to JSNU. In the end, he looked forward to enriching cooperation with JSNU and promoting the economic development of Xiangshan District.
Yu Qian expressed his gratitude to JSNU for its strong support for the development of education in Xiangshan District. He said that with advanced concepts and management models, Xiangshan Experimental School affiliated to JSNU set a model for basic education in Xiangshan District by its excellence in school-running. It is hoped that both sides will continue to promote university-government cooperation, and expand cooperation to the whole Xiangshan District and even Huaibei.
Sun Gang fully affirmed the work of Xiangshan Experimental School affiliated to JSNU and said that all-round and continued support for the School would be guaranteed.
