Associate Professor Qu Lulu from School of Chemistry and Materials Science Publishes Her Latest Research in Journal of the American Chemical Society

Recently, with Jiangsu Normal University as the first signature unit, Associate Professor Qu Lulu from the School of Chemistry and Materials Science, in collaboration with Associate Professor Liu Xiaoyuan from Hoffmann Institute of Advanced Materials of Shenzhen Polytechnic and Professor Li Jing from Rutgers University, published a paper entitled Reticular Chemistry with Art: A Case Study of Olympic Rings-Inspired Metal-Organic Frameworks in Journal of the American Chemical Society. The first authors of the paper were Si Jincheng, a master student of the School of Chemistry and Materials Science, and Dr. Xia Hailun of Shenzhen Polytechnic. The corresponding authors were Associate Professor Qu Lulu, Associate Professor Liu Xiaoyuan, and Professor Li Jing. The paper was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province and the Natural Science Foundation of Xuzhou.

Associate Professor Qu Lulu is mainly engaged in the research on the construction of new nanomaterials and their application in environment and biomolecular detection. In recent years, she has presided over 6 projects including the general program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Excellent Young Scientists Fund, Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation (Young Scientists Fund) and Key R&D Program of Xuzhou, and 2 horizontal projects of enterprises. Since she started her career, she has published more than 40 papers in international journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Funct. Mater., Anal. Chem. and Biosens. Bioelectron, which were cited by scholars from home and abroad for more than 2200 times. Dr. Qu holds three patents for her invention.
