Delegation of State University of New York at Albany visits JSNU

Delegation of State University of New York at Albany, led by Professor Harvey Charles, the vice president and the dean of the Center for International Education and Global Strategy visited JSNU on December 6 and was received cordially by President Zhou Ruguang.

President Zhou briefed on the overall situation about JSNU from the aspect of disciplines, advantages, international cooperation and etc. He mentioned that he was given a warm reception when visiting SUNY at Albany in October this year. Two sides signed cooperation framework agreement and 2+2 double degree project cooperation agreement.

He also said that Professor Charless return visit would further strengthen the friendship between two sides and enhance mutual cooperation, putting double degree project into practice as soon as possible.

Professor Charles was grateful for the hospitality. He noted that the visit to JSNU last time left him a quite deep impression. SUNY at Albany attached much attention to cooperation with JSNU. He expressed his wish to conduct joint education projects and short-term exchanges of students and teachers.

After the conference, Professor Charles gave a lecture to students of CW Chu College, introducing undergraduate and graduate programs of SUNY at Albany and welcoming students of JSNU to come and study.
