2018 Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) Conference was held at Washington from August 5 to 9. Professors from Communication University of China, Jiangsu Normal University, Shanghai International Studies University, Xiamen University and other universities were invited to participant.
Professor Tang Ning from JSNU and other four professors illustrated the improvement and development of Chinese media industry since reform and opening up on the seminar, arising warm discussion among the audience. Besides, Professor Tang introduced the teaching and researching environment of JSNU and the recruitment of overseas doctors, greatly attracting participants’ attention.
After the conference, all the participants visited American University Radio (WAMU) and learned the operation mode.
The annual conference of AEJMC is one of the three most important conferences in journalism and communication. Founded in 1912, its academic authority is widely acknowledged. It encourages cultural diversity and news reform under the background of new media.
