Recently, the 10th session of ‘Golden Bridge Award’ that China Technology Market Association hosts was held in Zibo, Shandong Province. Professor Jiang Jihong of Jiangsu Normal University won the first individual prize of ‘Golden Bridge Award’. This is the first time that teacher of JSNU has won this kind of award.
The Golden Bridge Award, established by the State Science and Technology Commission and approved by the State Office of Science and Technology Awards, is the most authoritative award in the national technology market and a supplement to the National Science and Technology Progress Award. The prize is awarded every two years, mainly to the groups, individuals and projects that have significant influence on promoting regional economic construction or technological progress of the industry and have achieved remarkable economicand social benefits in the technology market activities of trading and transformation of technological achievements.
Inrecent years, in response to the national and local economic strategic needs, JSNU has set up specialized institutions for technology transfer, established relevant industrial research institutes, constructed high-value patent cultivation, constantly innovated the path and method of achievement transformation, and promoted the deep integration of innovation chain and industrial chain. Transformation of scientific and technological achievements of JSNU has been successfully recognized by the relevant departments, and it is a national technology transfer demonstration institution recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
