On November 4, China Social Sciences Network published the Approval Situation of 2017 Key Projects of the National Social Science Fund of China. Totally, there are 333 projects. Three projects from JSNU have been approved, namely, Professor Yang Yiming’s “Related Researches on Chinese Universal Rhyme, Rhyming Dictionary Compilation and Database Establishment”, Professor Zhang Qiusheng’s “A History of World Chinese Merchant (six volumes)” and Professor Cao Dianshun’s “Research on the Development Logic of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics since Reform and Opening-up”, which have made a new high in terms of the project number, only being second to Nanjing University.
