Professor HAN Baoping, doctoral supervisor, was the Former President of Xuzhou Institute of Technology. He has been engaged in the research of Environment Science. Mr. Han is entitled to the special government allowances of the State Council of China. Mr. Han took charge and accomplished three projects of National Nature Science Foundation of China, completed Doctoral Fund of Ministry of Education of China, Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, around 50 projects entrusted by local government and enterprises. He won eight provincial and ministerial science or technology awards, one National Teaching Award First Prize, one teaching award of Jiangsu province first prize, three second prizes. Prof. Han has published 8 monographs, 6 textbooks (as chief editor) and 180 academic papers. Mr. Han is now member of International Society for Environmental Geotechnology, member of International Association of Hydrogeologists, member of the Professional Committee of Mining Area Environment Protection of China Coal Industry Committee of Technology, vice-chairman of the Professional Committee for Environment Protection of China Coal Society. He was invited as judge for National Science of and Technology Award of China in 2010 and 2011, judge of the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program) and International Cooperation Project.
