Dr. Yang, master’s supervisor, is now professor of School of Physics and Electronic Engineering. Yang has engaged in the study of Infrared Transmission Glass and Optical Fiber, Infrared Transmission Glass Nonlinear Optics and Application, The Structure and Performance of Infrared Transmission Glass, PL of Rare Earth Doping Amorphous Materials as well as Optical Sensor. He was in charge of 5 National Projects and published over 60 SCI papers, which were cited over 900 times. He also holds 10 patents for invention.
