Dr. Shi, master’s supervisor, is now professor of School of Physics and Electronic Engineering. She has engaged in the study of Advanced Optical Fiber Technology. Shi was selected as Jiangsu Distinguished Professor in 2017. She was in charge of a National Natural Science Fund Project and published over 40 papers in international academic journals.
