Abstract:
In this talk, we introduce the Kac determinant for the Verma modules over the Virasoro algebra. As an applications we calculate some Kac determinants for some related Lie algebras and get some irreducibility criterions for some weight modules.
Brief Introduction of the Speaker:
Professor Liu Dong is the director of Journal of Huzhou University and a doctoral supervisor in Huzhou University. Prof. Liu is the managing director of Chinese Mathematical Society for Educational. The research direction of Prof. Liu is Lie algebra. In recent years, he has headed 3 general programs of The National Natural Science Foundation of China, one program of Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China, 4 programs of Qianjiang Talents Projects (including 1 key program of Natural Science Foundation). Prof. Liu has published more than 40 SCI papers in international core journals such as J. Alg., Commun. Comtemp. Math. and Alg. Rep. Theory.
