Recently, the Department of Finance of Jiangsu Province and Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province jointly released “The notice of issuing special fund of 2019 provincial innovationability construction (the 2dn batch)”. The project of “Jiangsu large-scale scientific instrument laboratory” of JSNU was approved with a fund totaling ¥2,000,000.
“Open labs” belong to Jiangsu innovation ability construction plan and “resource-sharing and s & t public serviceplatform construction project”. It is a concrete measure of Jiangsu Province to positively answer national call and promote innovative reform, aiming atencouraging higher education institutions to establish “open lab.” Under the principle of the stability of ownership, giving the authority to professional institutions for market operation and management and improve effectiveness. Now,the “open labs” have been brought into public service platform series.
With the support of university leaders, wehave started the application since early February. Related departments such as Lab and Device Administration Department, Institute of Science and Technology, Analysis and Test Center worked together to make contribution for declaration. Finally,we became one of the three units among first batch of pilot units.
“Open lab” enjoys excellent facilities butit still faces heavy task and high inspecting standard. However, we will insiston building it into a high-level lab after two-years’ construction and serve JSNU’soverall construction.
