From Jun 22 to 27, International Conferenceon Stochastic Analysis and Relate Fields, organized by School of Mathematics and Statistics, Jiangsu Normal University was held successfully. The conference attracted nearly one hundred scholars and postgraduate students from Chinese Academy of Science, Sun Yet-sun University, Wuhan University, Shandong University, Fudan University, University of Science and Technology of China,Tianjin University, Nankai University, Beijing Normal University, China University of Mining and Technology, Southeast University, East China NormalUniversity, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Bielefeld University, University of Connecticut, the University of Tennessee, Northwestern University, the University of Manchester and other famous higher-education institutes and research institutes.
The conference was hosted by Professor Liu Wei, dean of the School of Mathematics and Statistics. Professor Zhou Ruguang, President of JSNU, and Professor Xie Yingchao, academic leader of Statistics, the advanced subject of Jiangsu Province, gave speeches respectively. President Zhou expressed his welcome to all the experts and postgraduates from home andabroad and specifically introduced the history and features of JSNU, wishing this conference held successfully.
Professor Chen Mufa, academician fromBeijing Normal University, Professor Michael Röckner from Bielefeld University, Professor Ren Jiagang from Sun Yet-sun University, Professor Zhang Xicheng from Wuhan University, Research fellow Li Xiangdong and Dong Zhao from Chinese Academy of Science, Professor Elton P.Hsu from Northwestern University, Professor Chen Xia from the University of Tennessee, Professor Zhang Tusheng from the University of Manchester, Professor Wu Dongshen from the University of Alabama, Professor Fabrice Baudoin from University of Connecticut and many other Probabilists made reports.
Totally, there were 40 academic reports. The attendants conducted profound exchange on Stochastic Analysis and related problems, creating warm and harmonious atmosphere.
