On September 24th, the leading group of Jiangsu High-level University Construction issued the Notice on announcing the list of “Peak Plan” universities in Jiangsu high-level university construction, and JSNU was selected as one. This is the second time for JSNU to be selected into the provincial high-level university construction plan.
A new round of the “Peak Plan” of Jiangsu High-level University Construction, aimed at building a world-class high level university construction system with local and Chinese characteristics, focuses on the construction of a batch of distinctive provincial colleges and universities, to promote them early into the national level of first-class universities and the first-class discipline construction. The “Peak Plan” universities are divided into two categories: A and B, and JSNU has been selected as a class B construction university.
According to the “Construction Plan of High-level University”, during the “14th Five-year Plan”, JSNU will comprehensively promote 23 key construction projects and complete 15 types of landmark achievements (301 items). Recently, JSNU has divided the construction task of the expected landmark achievements of “Peak Plan” into relevant functional departments and included them in the annual assessment goals of functional departments.
