Tripartite strategic cooperation agreement reached


In order to make response to the “Belt and Road Initiative” and expand internationalization scale of Jiangsu Normal University, Prof. Zhang Nong, our Vice President went to Beijing Institute of Technology with Li Ge, Vice Party Secretary of CPC Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (XCMG) Committee to carry out friendly talks and sign tripartite agreement on international talent cultivation on April 26.

Prof. Zhang addressed a speech on the signing ceremony to express his congratulation. He briefly looked back the origin intention and progress of the three parties and proposed his hope that the three parties could remain true to aspiration, move forward together, strengthen our friendship in cooperation and boost innovation in interaction, ensuring that all the cooperation could yield good results.

Prof. Mei Hong, Executive Vice President of BIT introduced the development, tradition and achievements of BIT. Then, he said that the two universities could combine our international talent cultivation with XCMG’s strategy of “Overseas talents localization” organically, promoting BIT’s internationalization level.

Vice secretary Li Ge extended her gratitude to JSNU and BIT for the effort in boosting tripartite strategic cooperation. She hoped that the three could complement advantages with each other, positively promoting XCMG and Chinese manufacturing to “go out” to the world.

The reaching of agreement started a new chapter of tripartite cooperation. JSNU and BIT would give full play of their advantages, training seriously, guiding precisely and serving heartedly to make new mode of international talent cultivation, provide intellectual support and talent reservation for XCMG.

After the ceremony, leaders of the three parties visited BIT History Museum, National Engineering Laboratory for Electric Vehicles, Science and Technology on Vehicle Transmission Laboratory and Fundamental Science on Advanced Machining Laboratory together.
