The International Conference on “Chinese Entrepreneurship and Social, Economic, and Political Transformations of China and the World”, co-sponsored by Jiangsu Normal University and the University of Queensland, was launched in Brisbane, Australia from April 12 to 15. Prof. Zhang Qiusheng, teacher of JSNU School of History, Culture and Tourism, Vice Executive Director of Jiangsu Research Basement of Overseas Chinese Affairs Theory under Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and Director of Australian Studies Center, and Prof. Li Zhigang, Director of Chinese Entrepreneurs Research Center gave opening addresses respectively.
The conference combined keynote speeches and discussions, integrating overseas Chinese entrepreneurship study and current political and economic changes among China and the globe. Scholars from Jinan University, University of Western Sydney, Jiangsu Normal University, the University of Queensland, Peking University, Griffith University, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and other colleges conducted discussions over Chinese entrepreneurs and global economic changes.
